INTRODUCTION

Ship Agency represents principal line of business for Mawaria Shipping. We are licensed by the Royal Malaysian Customs to operate at all principal ports in Peninsular Malaysia and in Sabah and Sarawak. Over the years we have developed and acquired a high level of expertise to handle various ships that call at Malaysian Ports.

Mawaria Shipping has performed agency duties to some of the biggest parcel tankers, ro/ro carriers, crude oil tankers, product carriers, chemical carriers, general cargo vessels, containerships and cruise liners. We always strive to effect early dispatch of vessels for the benefit of owners or charterers.

Mawaria Shipping has a total staff of 82, many of whom have several years of experience. A good number of our staff have grown with the company over the 27 years, thus offering an uninterrupted level of service and dedication to the company.

An outstanding characteristic of our staff is the high level of professionalism and service. We have also developed modern business practices and inculcated good work ethics.


SCOPE OF PERFORMANCE

We offer full agency services to meet requirements of shipowners and their vessels as well as the crews at local ports.

	Assist in all documentation relating to the entry and exit of vessels and crew at local ports as required by various agencies such as port authorities, customs and immigration.
	Secure cargo bookings, maintain contact with eventual shippers and forwarding agents.
	Procure provisions and other stores supplies and communicate orders and messages to/from owners.
	Attend to crew services including signing-on/off, repatriation, medical assistance, crew launches and any other assistance as may be required by the owners from time to time.
	Arrange for the provision of bunkers/lubricants including for vessels off port limits. Additionally, we also supply information relating to ports conditions, facilities, tariffs and general developments and changes in government policies affecting shipping and ports.

  Documentation
Assist in all documentation relating to the entry and exit of vessels and crew at local ports as required by various agencies such as port authorities, customs and immigration.

  Crew Supply
Providing STCW certified seaman.

  Crew Sign On/Off
Attend to crew services including signing-on/off, repatriation, medical assistance, crew launches and any other assistance as may be required by owners from time to time.

  Marine Bunker Supply
Arrange for the provision of bunkers/lubricants including for vessels off port limits.  Additionally, we also supply information relating to ports conditions, facilities, tariffs and general developments and changes in government policies affecting shipping and ports.

  Cargo Fixing
Secure cargo bookings, maintain contact with eventual shippers and forwarding agents.

  Ship Supply & Spares
Procure provisions and other stores supplies and communicate orders and messages to/from owners.
